A little about me

I am an Auckland-based counsellor and therapist with several years of experience across a range of mental health settings, including crisis support and addiction services, alongside my work in private practice.

My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing on evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor the work to each person, taking into account what has brought you to therapy, what you need at the time and what feels most helpful as the work develops. I place particular importance on the therapeutic relationship and on creating a space where you can explore difficult experiences with curiosity and at a pace that feels manageable.
